Nine Star University of Health Sciences is granted candidacy status for institutional accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for freestanding institutions and colleges of acupuncture or Oriental medicine that offer such programs. Nine Star University of Health Sciences has been placed on Show Cause by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) effective August 13, 2016 until the ACAOM’s February 22-25, 2017 meeting. Show Cause is defined as a non-compliance action that requires the institution / program to demonstrate, to the Commission, remediation of all non-compliance findings and why its accreditation status should not be removed.
